Helpline & Support Manager

What do you do at the charity? 

As the Helpline and Support Manager, I provide information and support to those contacting the helpline through email, telephone and online chat.  I also help develop resources. 

Why do you like working here? 

I really love that every day is different.  You never know who you will have an opportunity to communicate with that day.    I am fortunate to hear many inspiring stories.  I also appreciate working with a team that is so dedicated. 

Tell us something about yourself 

I have always enjoyed travel and the great outdoors.  I spent several years volunteering in disaster relief and the building of community centres.  

What difference does Encephalitis International make in your opinion? 

Encephalitis International empowers and equips those affected.  It helps people in their darkest moment feel supported from a community that can become like family.  It also drives knowledge and change.
