Dr Nicholas Davies is a consultant neurologist who works at Chelsea and Westminster, Charing Cross, and the Royal Marsden Hospitals in London. He is also neurologist to the UK’s National Centre for Human Retrovirology.
He has a sub-specialty and research interest in neurological infection. He runs both a weekly neuro-infection and HIV neurology clinic. He has a monthly clinic for neurological problems related to HTLV-1 infection.
He trained in neurology at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, St Mary’s Hospital and St George’s Hospital (Atkinson Morley’s) in London. His PhD, from King’s College London, addressed the aetiology and outcome of acute encephalitis in adults. After the completion of specialist training, Dr Davies undertook a fellowship in HIV neurology at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney, Australia.
