2016 - The Queen's 90th Birthday Beacon Lighting
Local dignitaries joined Encephalitis International to celebrate the 90th birthday of Her Majesty The Queen at a Beacon Lighting on Thursday, April 21, 2016.
We teamed up with our charity partner, The Talbot Hotel, to host the event which included refreshments and the official lighting of the birthday beacon by BBC Look North presenter Charlotte Leeming.
We were delighted to be joined by Francesca Horsfield, the Deputy Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Mayor of Malton Joan Lawrence and our Ambassador, Mathew Bose, among many others.
