Leisa Sherry
Graphic Designer
What do you do for the charity?
I am a graphic designer and I have worked closely with Encephalitis International for over 8 years. From designing impactful event materials such as posters, banners and invitations to social media graphics and scientific research reports, the clarity in the publications I am asked to produce is crucial for helping patients and their families understand the support services and information accessible through Encephalitis International.
Why do you like working for the charity?
I thoroughly enjoy the projects I am part of. Although I work remotely, the EI staff ensure I feel part of the team.
Tell us something about yourself
I have a keen interest in interior design, and have spent many years renovating our home and garden, it is never-ending!
My husband and I love to travel and try to visit a different European city every year. We are parents to grown-up twins and also a crazy cockapoo called Freddie!
What difference does Encephalitis International make in your opinion?
Encephalitis International offers a vital lifeline for patients and their families by offering practical guidance and support. I am proud to have been part of the charity’s growth over the last few years.
