Ally Phillips

Personal Assistant to the CEO

What do you do at the charity?

I work as the Personal Assistant to our CEO, providing day-to-day support to her, the senior leadership team and the Board. My role includes managing diaries, coordinating meetings, and lot of other tasks that help to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. I also get involved in a variety of projects across the charity.

Why do you like working here?

I really enjoy working with Ava and the team. There is never a dull moment and it’s great to get involved with such varied projects to support the important work of Encephalitis International.

Tell us something about yourself

I live in the Cheshire countryside and enjoy spending time outdoors. I love to travel and experience new places, especially off the beaten track. I am kept busy with my 3 children and as a family we love to sail in the summer.  I’m a born planner and organizer and have a passion for marketing and project management.

What difference does Encephalitis International make in your opinion?

Working directly for our CEO, I see first hand the amazing work she does globally, and the huge contribution she and Encephalitis International make to saving lives, creating awareness and research. It’s inspiring to see the real-world impact of our work and it is truly a privilege to be part of this.
