My Brain & Medicine Birmingham, England 2026

My Brain & Medicine (MB&M) is an in-person event only.

We would love you to join us in Birmingham, England on Friday 9 October 2026.

This event is for anyone who wants to listen to the experiences of people who have been directly or indirectly affected by encephalitis and learn more about the after-effects. There will be opportunities to ask questions of the speakers, connect with others with similar experiences and join us afterwards for a drinks reception.

Programme – to be finalised later in the year

12.00 – registration.

12.00- 13.00 – light lunch

13.00-17.00 – ‘lived’ experience speakers and professional workshops

17.00-18.00 – drinks reception

The cost to attend in person is £5.00

The tickets are limited, please book early.

The Venue

The Old Library, Birmingham  is a beautifully restored Victorian building and is the last remaining of Birmingham’s five original Free Library’s opened in 1866. The main space is a light and airy space flooded with natural daylight and full of period features including vaulted ceilings and iconic arch windows.

Venue is accessible by public transport. The train station is an approx. 15 minute walk.
