Adèle Mackinlay
Human Relations Trustee
Adèle works as a Director of People and Organisational Development at one of the leading UK universities.
She became involved with Encephalitis International over twenty years ago when her mother, Margaret, became critically ill with herpes simplex encephalitis. Margaret subsequently died, and Adèle is passionate, either through fund-raising or as a Trustee, to raise awareness of encephalitis.
Adèle is mum to three children and four dogs. She is an avid reader and loves running, walking in the mountains, and all things Italian.
