I have been a professional international rugby player for England and Great Britain 7s since 2018 and went to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where we came 4th.
In June 2022, I had my first seizure. I was misdiagnosed which led to being sectioned. I was then diagnosed with Autoimmune NMDA Receptor Encephalitis in July 2022.
I was so debilitated by the condition I spent three and half weeks in intensive care in a medical induced coma. I was discharged in September 2022 and now I am on a mission to spread awareness about this illness.
