During World Immunization Week 2024, Joe shared his experience of tick-borne encephalitis:

Joe was 28 and living in London when he was diagnosed with tick-borne encephalitis; he was bitten by a tick while on a trip to Scotland. After feeling generally unwell and feverish, he went to hospital and was told he had contracted meningitis. This then led to encephalitis. Here, Joe shares his experience of diagnosis and recovery.
