Can you help?
Researchers are seeking secondary or tertiary care centres to help a trial establish whether with intravenous immunoglobulin improves recovery in adults with autoimmune encephalitis.
Enceph-IG is a phase III, double blind, randomised placebo control trial lead by Chief Investigator Professor Tom Solomon, University of Liverpool, and run by the Centre for Trials Research, Cardiff University.
The trial aims to establish whether or not early treatment with intravenous immunoglobulin improves recovery in adults with autoimmune encephalitis.
It is funded through the NIHR Efficacy and Mechanism Evaluation programme.
The study has received all regulatory approvals and is on track to open in summer 2021 and now the team behind it are looking for secondary and tertiary care centres as potential sites.
