- Overview of infectious encephalitis – Assoc Prof Kiran Thakur, Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
- Overview of autoimmune encephalitis – Assist Prof Sarah Flanagan Wesley, Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
- Overview of encephalitis in children – Dr Molly Wilson-Murphy, Boston Children’s Hospital.
- Rehabilitation following encephalitis – Assist Prof Akin Beckley, Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
- Seizure management in encephalitis – Dr Claude Steriade, NYU Langone’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center.
- Psychiatric management in encephalitis – Prof Steven Kushner, Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Center for Precision Psychiatry & Mental Health – New York Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
- Encephalitis Community ‘lived experiences’ – Jim Cooper (infectious encephalitis) and Rachael Muggleton (autoimmune encephalitis).
The event will finish with a drinks and nibbles reception.
