Accumulator Challenge

7 July – 22 July 2025

Has your business, school or organisation got the creativity and ingenuity to turn £50 into £100s or even £1,000s in the 2 weeks leading up to World Brain Day?!

Could your team win the:

  • Top Total Trophy – the highest honour, earned by the team who have raised the most money
  • Community Cup – favourite fundraising activity prize, as voted for by our encephalitis community
  • Originality Oscar – awarded to the video or photo collage showcasing the most inventive/creative/entertaining activities
  • Nobel Nod – presented by Encephalitis International CEO, Dr Ava Easton (no bribes will be accepted, sorry!)
Stacks of coins getting taller in height with the words: 'Accumulator Challenge - Supporting Encephalitis International' International

How It Works:

  1. Up to 6 participants from a business, school or organisation form a team (awesome team name essential).
  2. Use a £50 Starter Fund to kickstart your fundraising activity.
  3. Teams have from 7-22 July to accumulate as much profit as possible.
  4. On World Brain Day (22 July) teams declare the totals they’ve raised.
  5. Prizes are issued and gloating rights retained for the rest of the year!

Team size: up to 6 participants
Multiple competitive teams from the same company/school are encouraged!

You can be as creative, silly or serious as you choose – as long as your fundraising is safe and legal.

The Competition:

The aim of the Accumulator Challenge is to have some fun whilst raising awareness and vital funds to support the encephalitis community. It’s a challenge that will suit anyone with a competitive nature and a bit of fundraising flair!
