2016 - Saatchi Gallery Exhibition
The world-famous art museum in London hosted the exhibition in December and January. And to celebrate the good news, we held an event to celebrate the launch on Thursday, December 15, with the winners of each of the three sections – short film, digital art and photography – all picking up their trophies in person.
Rozenn Logan, Head of Education at the Saatchi Gallery, said:
“We were delighted to host the #ShowYouKnow exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery and to support Encephalitis International and its work raising awareness of this devastating condition.
We had a lot of positive feedback from visitors to the exhibition, many of whom had never heard of encephalitis before.
The artwork featured really painted a picture of what life can be like for people with encephalitis and also showcased how art can be used as a tool for helping others in their recovery from an acquired brain injury.”
A review of the launch and the exhibition also featured in The Lancet Neurology.
