World Encephalitis Day 2019 Thank you to everyone who took part in World Encephalitis Day 2019 and helped us to raise awareness of encephalitis through social media, interviews in newspapers and on radio or television, by wearing something red or even making a donation to help us do our life-saving work. It's been a journey several months in the making and along the way we have had a lot of help from our sponsors (see below) and our supporters old and new. In total, we estimate that we reached 49.5 million people in 189 countries through traditional and social media. We had at least 112 pieces of press coverage with 12.2 million people hearing us on the radio, 2.25 million people seeing us on TV and 84,069 website views. Your support means everything to us!
