More than 13 million people around the world were reached on World Encephalitis Day 2015 - a fantastic increase of 550% over the previous year.

Our focus was on improving early diagnosis and treatment, saving lives and lessening the impact of encephalitis.

We did this through streaming five live webinars from five different continents on February 22 where we explored five different types of encephalitis.

World Encephalitis Day 2015 featured in nearly 50 press articles, raised  £9,000 for research and culminated with a wonderful concert by our Ambassador Aliki Chrysochou at Liverpool's Everyman Theatre.
