What do you do at the charity?

I am the Admin & Events Manager at Encephalitis International. I have a wide variety of duties which help with the smooth running of our events and day-to-day work.

Why do you like working here?

Everyday is different – it can be heartbreaking, rewarding and challenging all at the same time. The best of times are when we meet our members and supporters who are so inspirational.

Tell us something about yourself

I love the outdoors – cycling and walking in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. I feel so lucky to live here! On the flip side, I enjoy music and try to attend as many concerts as I can.

What difference does Encephalitis International make in your opinion?

I have always thought that the phrase “we are a light in a very dark place” perfectly sums up what we do.
