Tick-borne Encephalitis affects Austria, Germany, southern & central Sweden, France, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Croatia, Albania, the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia & Lithuania), the Czech & Slovak Republics, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine, some other countries of the former Soviet Union, northern & eastern regions of China.
