Factsheets Index

Our factsheets are available to read online and to download and print as pdf files. You can also order a free paper copy but we kindly ask you to download where possible to save our costs.

The factsheets offer relevant, up-to-date and trustful information on diagnosis, symptoms, types of Encephalitis, various consequences people may be left with as well as legal, social care and educational issues.

The Encephalitis Society is a member of the Information Standard Scheme. We were delighted to be accredited in February 2011, therefore we are adding the Information Standard logo to all our Factsheets. To qualify for the standard’s mark, The Encephalitis Society Information System had to meet very strict standards. All our factsheets are written and reviewed by renewed professionals, most of them members of our Professional Advisory Panel. Factsheets are updated every three years and volunteers and members of the Society provide user feedback.

If you would like to contact us about any of these factsheets or you would like to suggest a new factsheet please see our Contact page.
