WHAT DO YOU DO AT THE CHARITY?

I am the Support Services Coordinator, which means I work with Jon to provide frontline support and information to those affected by Encephalitis. I also work on the global Connections Scheme, and further digital solutions to providing international support.

WHY DO YOU LIKE WORKING HERE?

It may sound cliched, but working in an environment where everyone cares so deeply about what they do is wonderful.

TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF?

Spanish is my mother tongue (even though you wouldn’t know it these days from my accent!)

WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES THE ENCEPHALITIS SOCIETY MAKE IN YOUR OPINION?

There is so much important work being done here! The raising of awareness, funding research into improved treatment options, community-building events for those affected… the thread that ties it all together is providing every possible tool to support people affected by Encephalitis, ensuring that they don’t have to deal with everything alone.
