This Guide aims to support GPs by providing evidence-based and up-to-date information to help with recognising and managing the acute symptoms and after-effects of ABI. It also covers the unique challenges inherent in diagnosing Encephalitis and managing associated consequences.

The information included in the Guide is aimed primarily at GPs but may be of interest to other healthcare professionals, particularly those in primary care and professions allied to medicine.

Full copy of the Guide can be downloaded here. Alternatively please contact us and request a paper copy.

We are very grateful to all Professionals and Members who have helped develop this Guide and also to those organisations who have very kindly endorsed it: Royal College of General Practitioners, Primary Care Neurology Society, British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine and UKABIF.
