WHAT DO YOU DO AT THE CHARITY?

I’m the Community Fundraising Manager, which means I am responsible for making sure all the wonderful people who support our charity are well looked after. I also provide project-based support to our lovely senior leadership team so that we can continue to help as many people as possible who are affected by encephalitis.

WHY DO YOU LIKE WORKING HERE?

It’s incredibly humbling to meet and hear the stories of those who have been affected by encephalitis, and to see the incredible ways in which people choose to support our charity.

TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF?

I love all kinds of music, so I can often be found singing and dancing (badly) in the car, in my kitchen or for those very lucky people out there, in public at concerts and on the dancefloor.

WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES THE ENCEPHALITIS SOCIETY MAKE IN YOUR OPINION?

There are so many families and individuals affected by encephalitis, and yet it is still relatively unheard of by many people. The Encephalitis Society works hard to raise awareness and simultaneously gives vital support and information to those who need it, so that no one has to feel alone.
