The Great North Run is the world’s biggest half marathon and places sell out quickly. You run 13.1 miles from Newcastle to South Shields across the iconic Tyne Bridge and along the beautiful North East Coastline. The race attracts top level athletes such as Mo Farah and you could run alongside 57,000 other athletes all achieving something amazing.
Do get in touch quickly to book your place and we will send you a vest or t shirt, a fundraising pack and details about the amazing work that you will be supporting, helping the 6,000 people each year who are affected by encephalitis.
As we are a small charity, surviving entirely on gifts and donations from the generous public we ask that you pledge to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship for each event place you commit to. We will help you achieve this though – together we can make a difference, and you will have an amazing time!
How can we help?
To register your interest in The Great North Run please contact our fundraising team on +44 (0)1653 692583 or email@example.com and we can guide you through everything you will need to know.
We can also help you to raise your sponsorship and will support you every step of the way with a free t shirt or vest, fundraising packs, training tips and on the day cheer points.
