Research and training Research currently recruiting Peer mentoring after acquired brain injury Brain injury mentors wanted for University of Nottingham study! We are looking for people with acquired brain injury (ABI) to take part in a study being conducted at the University of Nottingham. The study is into peer mentoring after brain injury. This will involve pairing experienced brain injury survivors with people injured more recently. Each pair will be asked to meet six times over 12 weeks. The mentor will help their partner (mentee) by listening, providing the benefit of their experience, doing activities and helping them to meet simple goals. Mentors may have any form of ABI (traumatic brain injury, stroke, hypoxia or any other) and should be at least one year post-discharge from hospital.
