My Brain: My Story

A chance to hear a variety of stories and narratives from people directly and indirectly affected by encephalitis

Conference Aston Hotel with Aston Business School

Aston University

Birmingham, Saturday October 23rd 2021 (and online)

The home of Cadbury's chocolate will be the setting for a popular event where you can hear – and share – real-life stories of encephalitis.

We will be bringing together several speakers in Birmingham who can give us an insight into the impact that encephalitis can have on individuals and their families.

As well as listening to some powerful narratives, there will be an opportunity to meet with other members of the Encephalitis Society, build new friendships and support one another.

This year will be our first hybrid digital My Brain My Story event - allowing attendees opting for a digital place to join us live in Birmingham from anywhere in the world (or their sofa!)

In Person and Virtual tickets are now on sale.

Please Note:

  • In order to attend My Brain:My Story, you will need to be a member of the Encephalitis Society.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please email or call us on +44(0)1653 692583.
