Have you missed the deadline to register for the 2022 Twitter Art Exhibit?

Fear not - as you can still submit art to be included at the exhibition at the Hiscox Building in York on June 25 and 26.

There is still plenty of time to send in your artwork to the Encephalitis Society and have it featured alongside hundreds of other artists at this prestigious event.

The Twitter Art Exhibit is open to both professional and amateur artists, aged 16 and older, from anywhere in the world. We would, of course, love as many local artists from Yorkshire to take part and also join us at the exhibit.

How do I get involved?

1. Create a piece of 2D artwork which must be postcard-sized, measuring 13x17.5cm (5"x7"). Artwork can be any medium, from graphite and collage, through to printing, digital art, and everything in-between!

2. Print and fill out the form below (which includes lots more helpful information):

TAE Form

3. Send both your artwork and the form to Mathew Bose, Encephalitis Society, 32 Castlegate, Malton YO17 7DS before June 22 and we will make sure your artwork is featured at the exhibit.

Sadly, as the April 22 registration deadline has passed, we will not be able to feature your artwork in the Twitter Art Exhibit catalogue.

Attend the Twitter Art Exhibition

The Twitter Art Exhibit will begin with an invite-only event at the Hiscox Building, Peasholme Green, York YO1 7PR on the evening of Saturday, the 25th June.

Members of the public will be able to attend - without the need for a ticket - on Sunday, 26th June, from 10am. Simply turn up anytime between 10am and 4pm to view the artwork.

On Sunday, there will also be 90 minute guided tours of the private art collection of the Hiscox Building at 10.30am, 1pm and 3.30pm which includes pieces by famed Yorkshire artists such as David Hockney, Harland Miller, and Henry Moore.

Tickets cost £15.
