The Garfield Weston Foundation has awarded the Encephalitis Society a £45,000 grant which will go towards our core costs over the next three years.

The foundation, which was established in 1958 by the Weston family, is one of the largest and most respected charitable institutions in the UK and has donated over £1 billion in total.

Steph Dalton, our Trust Fundraising Manager, said: "We are very grateful to the Garfield Weston Foundation for this generous grant which will go towards supporting our life-saving work.

"The team are delighted to have the support of such a fantastic family at what has been a difficult 18 months for the charity."
