Charity Times Awards 2017 We'll be donning our glad rags again at the beginning of October for another glittering awards ceremony. The Society is up for a gong in the 2017 Charity Times Awards where we will be battling out with several other worthy organisations in the hope that we are crowned Charity of the Year (with an income under £1 million). It is the second year on the trot that we have been shortlisted for the award and - fingers crossed - we will come home with the prize at the end of the night.Dr Ava Easton, our Chief Executive, will be leading the way on the evening and will be joined by Ambassador Rebecca Adlington, Lord Roy Kennedy of Southwark, Andy Roe, Deputy Assistant Commissioner with London Fire Brigade.Rounding up our table are the Society's Director of Operations Phillippa Chapman and Julia Clark, our Director of Income Generation.Ava said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be nominated for Charity of the Year again. Win or lose, that such a small team can achieve such massive national recognition makes us all extremely proud!” Manage Cookie Preferences
