What do you do at the charity?

My role is Communications Manager. I look after social media, internal and external communications and also dabble in graphic design. No two days are the same!

Why do you like working here?

It's good to have a role where you are making a difference to individuals and families who are living with encephalitis. There is also a bountiful supply of cakes and biscuits and many opportunities to play pranks on Jon, the support coordinator.

Tell us something about yourself?

I can do 100 words per minute shorthand!

What difference does the Encephalitis Society make in your opinion?

I'm lucky to hear first-hand from people who have made great strides in their recoveries after encephalitis and who say we have helped them on that journey. That is very gratifying personally. Their stories - to a man, woman and child - are inspirational.
