Support Us – Telling your story to the media

Media coverage in newspaper, magazines, radio and television programmes is a useful tool for reaching the wider public. Personal stories are so powerful in explaining what it means to be affected by encephalitis.

To tell your story contact Ava Easton at the Encephalitis Society and we will support you in accessing local and National media. This has resulted in a great deal of coverage in the last few years.

Newspapers, magazines and television in the hopes of writing and producing pieces on people’s stories regularly contact the Society. Finding the right stories and people can be time consuming for us, and sometimes intrusive. Therefore we have decided to keep a file on people who have stories they would be willing to share should the media enquiry match their story. If you think you have an interesting story and are happy for it to be considered when the media approaches us in the future, please send a brief summary of your story and your contact details, to Ava Easton

Be assured we will never pass your details onto any media without first discussing it with you and checking you are happy for us to pass them on.
