The second week in October has been designated Encephalitis Awareness Week.

The Society would like to encourage readers to use the information material we provide and raise awareness in your local area. We have found that this is a very cost effective way of spreading the word – and making contact with others affected in your local area.

Posters and web pages can be downloaded to create a display. Display packs are available for people in the UK and Republic of Ireland. Displays can be arranged in local hospitals, health centres, libraries and other public places.
