International brain injury conference

The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust is to host its first international conference in Manchester.
The title of the conference will be: Looking Ahead: Innovations in brain injury rehabilitation - with internationally renowned specialists in neurosciences presenting an insight into future models of assessment, treatment and management of acquired brain injury.
The conference provides innovative, theoretical and practical opportunities for professionals working in brain injury, and is designed for personal injury lawyers, clinical psychologists, neurologists, nurses and case managers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, social workers, rehabilitation support workers and statutory and voluntary sector care provider.
The first day will be a plenary session followed by a Gala Dinner, where the after dinner speaker will be Professor Robert Winston, leading expert in clinical medicine, Life Peer and regular BBC presenter on science programmes. There will then be two days of workshops, aimed primarily at clinicians and therapists. Delegates can attend for one, two or three days.
